    Michelle Jorwic Carr was elevated to Assistant Director of Academic Services/Academic Advisor in February 2013. She joined Northwestern in April 2011 as academic advisor in the academic services department. Along with serving as an advisor, she is the director of study skills and the director of the N`CAT Tutor Program at Northwestern.

    An Elmhurst, Ill., native, Jorwic Carr attended Carthage College, earning an undergraduate degree in communication and digital media, and a Master's of education in educational leadership. Prior to coming to Northwestern, she held roles in Carthage College's office of student life and in the athletic department as the associate director of student-athlete services. She also worked as an NCAA intern in student-athlete affairs.

    During her undergraduate time at Carthage, Jorwic Carr played soccer for the Lady Reds and served on the NCAA Division III National Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She resides in Chicago with her husband, Matt.
