Prior to joining the Northwestern staff in August 2010, Hasenbalg spent six years in the Chicago White Sox organization, serving most recently as the manager of the club's group and party area sales team. There he was responsible for all aspects of the White Sox's group sales efforts, including implementation of new ticket promotions while increasing the existing ticketing programs. He was recognized in 2006 with the White Sox Best New Marketing Concept after spearheading the effort to sell the Gate 1 area at U.S. Cellular Field as a new party area. Hasenbalg also spent time working with the Kane County Cougars and Ultimate Race Vacations prior to joining the White Sox staff. He received his bachelors degree in visual communication design from Purdue in 1996 before attaining his MBA in marketing from Butler in 2001.
