    Kurt Hasenbalg is responsible for directing the season and group ticket sales initiatives for the NU football and men's basketball programs. During his time at Northwestern, he built the ticket sales staff from the ground up and led his charges in producing record numbers for both programs, including all-time highs in season tickets and group business. He created and developed the Randy Walker Terrace as a football game-day group destination, as well as initiated and developed pre-game tent space in Wildcat Alley known as the Tailgate Garden, also utilized by groups as a pre-game party area.

    Prior to joining Northwestern in August 2010, Hasenbalg spent six years in the Chicago White Sox organization, ultimately serving as manager of the club's group and party area sales team. At the White Sox he was responsible for all aspects of group ticket sales efforts, including implementation of new group sales promotions and the strategic development of existing group programs. He was recognized in 2006 with the White Sox Best New Marketing Concept after spearheading the effort to sell the Gate 1 area at U.S. Cellular Field as a new party area.

    Additionally, Hasenbalg spent time working with the Kane County Cougars in Geneva and Ultimate Race Vacations in Indianapolis. He completed his bachelor's degree at Purdue University and his Master of Business Administration at Butler University.

    He grew up in Indianapolis, Ind. and currently resides in River Forest, Ill.
