James Golliday

Contemporary Era: 1984 Charter Inductee

Ranking as the greatest sprinter in NU history, Golliday broke all of Northwestern's indoor and outdoor records. In his senior year, he tied the world 100-yard dash record at :09.3 during the Big Ten meet and was considered the "world's fastest human" at the time. He also set a world indoor dirt track record with his time of six seconds flat in the 60-yard dash.
