    Equipment Intern

    Gerardo J. Montejano joined Northwestern as an Equipment Intern in August 2012. He is currently in charge of the day-to-day equipment operations for baseball, wrestling and the spirit squad. Montejano also is responsible of receiving and distributing the Athletic Department's mail.

    Prior to coming to Northwestern, Montejano worked with the Arizona Rattlers as a Football Operations Intern in 2011. Before his time with the Rattlers, he worked in his family's property management business and with Prudential California Realty-Mulhearn Group as a real estate consultant.

    Montejano served as a student manager for the football program in 2001 at his alma mater, Cal State Northridge. He was promoted to Assistant Equipment Manager and held that position from 2002-04.

    Gerardo was born in Los Angeles and grew up in South Gate, Calif. He attended David Starr Jordan High School in Watts. He has two younger sisters and one younger brother.

    He resides in Evanston.
