Justin Dart

Pioneer Era: 1996 Inductee

A three-sport star while at Northwestern, Dart earned three letters in football, two in track and one in wrestling. An all-conference selection at guard, he helped NU to the 1926 conference championship in football. Dart twice set the Northwestern records for the hammer throw as a member of the track and field team. He set a record of 150 feet, 1 inch as a junior and then bettered that mark with a throw of 156 feet as a senior in 1928. Dart went on to post a third-place finish in the hammer throw at the NCAA Championships that same year.
