    EVANSTON, Ill. -- 2013 season ticket packages for Northwestern football go on sale Tuesday, Jan. 1, and will be available exclusively online at NUsports.com before going on sale via phone at 888-GO-PURPLE (467-8775) and in person at the NU Athletic Ticket Office on Wednesday, Jan. 2. Fans can save up to 30 percent off single-game prices for the Wildcats' seven home dates at Ryan Field.

    Existing season-ticket holders will receive their 2013 renewal documents electronically in late January.

    Northwestern's slate next season includes visits to Evanston by unbeaten 2012 Big Ten Leaders Division champion Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and a non-conference tilt with Big East co-champion Syracuse.

    Season ticket holders for Chicago's Big Ten Team receive exclusive benefits including priority access to bowl game tickets and the opportunity to purchase additional single-game tickets for any of Northwestern's seven home contests in advance of the public on-sale date. Becoming a Wildcats season ticket holder is also the only way to purchase season parking passes at Ryan Field.

    Fans have the opportunity to choose from several pricing tiers for the 2013 season including sideline seating ($262), corner seating ($196), end zone seating ($152) and youth ($99). Northwestern University young alumni and graduate students can purchase packages for $134, a savings of almost 50 percent off the single-game price.

    Season tickets will be available for purchase online at NUsports.com on Tuesday, Jan. 1, and over the phone by calling 888-GO-PURPLE (467-8775) or by visiting the Northwestern Athletic ticket office (1501 Central Street, Evanston, IL, 60208) on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
