EVANSTON, Ill. -- With the Northwestern Wildcats gearing up for the fall sports season, the athletic department has selected boy and girl scout days for the fall season. At every scout day, scout troops, their leaders and their families receive special treatment and benefits, including ticket discounts, scout day patches and giveaways at the games. Scouts must be in 8th grade and under to participate.
In addition to scout days, scout troops have received special visits from Wildcat student-athletes at their troop meetings and have become pen pals with some of the Wildcat teams. The 'Cats have also held postgame clinics after select games just for scouts! If you are interested in finding out more information about how the Wildcats can get involved with your troop, please e-mail wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu.
Be sure to check NUsports.com for more scout days to be announced for the winter and spring sports this season!
