EVANSTON, Ill. -- Student-athletes from across Northwestern's 19 varsity sports will show off their lesser-known skills at the fourth-annual Student-Athlete Talent Show, set for 7 p.m. on Monday, March 3, at Cahn Auditorium. The show is open to the general public and features a $3 entrance fee to benefit Northwestern University Dance Marathon and Team Joseph.

Cahn Auditorium is located in NU's Pick-Staiger Concert Hall at 600 Emerson Street, just west of Sheridan Road in Evanston.

Northwestern's student-athletes will be performing for an exciting trio of guest judges: women's basketball assistant coach Allison Guth, former NU football standout and current Oakland Raider starting linebacker Nick Roach, and 1980 Northwestern alum and heralded ESPN personality Mike Wilbon.

"We are incredibly excited for the talent show this year," said men's golfer John Callahan, vice president of Northwestern's Student-Athlete Advisory Council. "The partnership with Dance Marathon is incredibly special and we are privileged to have them on board again. This is a fun event for an awesome cause we hope everyone will come out for."

Team Joseph, the primary beneficiary of the 2014 Dance Marathon (March 7-8), is a Detroit-based organization that is seeking to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a degenerative genetic muscle disease.

"Our cooperative efforts with athletics reflects the incredible dedication and motivation of our student-athletes for the betterment of our community," said Anna Radoff, executive co-chair of Dance Marathon. "As NUDM continues to unite our campus, we are so appreciative for the example set by the leaders found among our student-athletes."

Serving as emcees of the event will be seniors Meghan McKeown of women's basketball and Nick Friar of baseball. Past Student-Athlete Talent Shows have featured dozens of Wildcats performing a wide range of talents, from musical and vocal performances to stand-up comedy, beat poetry, dance and more.
